TDP-PO
Tubing Disappearing Plug - Pump Open (TDP-PO®)
Glass barrier system with internal hydraulic pump open mechanism

With the TDP-PO oil and gas field operators can utilize the world’s most advanced and risk-free barrier solution. Built around our ISO certified barrier plug package, it provides a total seal against all Gases and Fluids under extreme conditions.
The TDP-PO integrates a hydraulic removal pump open system within the plug package. The removal can be triggered remotely.
FEATURES
Our glass barrier material provides a secure, non-corrodible seal under high temperature and axial loads, capable of withholding extreme levels of differential pressure from below and open remotely by a predetermined pressure applied from top. The glass material shatters into easily-handled smaller pieces on removal.
Integrated installation. We have designed the TDP-PO to be installed and run as an integrated part of the completion string or liner. This increases the efficiency of the installation process and leaves a large bore access when the plug is opened.
Hydraulic cycling. The TDP-PO contains an internal pump open device as the primary removal option. The system is practical to operate and does not require TCO personnel on-site. The TCO patented pump open mechanism set to open on a specific differential pressure. Simply apply pressure up to a pre-set value and plug will open. Optional opening methods are simple: the plug can also be speared, milled or opened with an SDT (shoot-down tool) run on a slickline or e-line.
Remote trigger. The TDP can be delivered with a remote removal mechanism. Aluminium counter triggers are placed on top of the laminated glass package and are activated with pressure cycles.
Custom sizes. We deliver the TDP-PO in standard and customized bore diameters.
