TDP-3
Tubing Disappearing Plug 3 (TDP-3™)
The TDP 3 was developed using the experience gathered from over 200 TDP installations worldwide. The TDP 3 represents a major a step change in barrier valve technology with its high tolerance for debris, ISO 14310 V0 certification, large bore ID and redundant cycling mechanisms.
The TDP-2 builds on our original TDP barrier plug, adding improved installation and remote cycling capabilities. It uses our laminated glass material, built into an ISO 14310 V0 certified barrier plug package. This provides a total seal against all fluids, under extreme conditions and even in situations with high differential pressure across the barrier.
Operational efficiency is improved with an internal removal system integrated into the plug housing, which completely protects it from the wellbore fluids. We offer the option to customize the TDP-2 design with debris extensions. This provides increased cycle open reliability when debris is expected.
FEATURES
Laminated glass. TCO's patented laminated glass provides a secure, non-corrodible seal against wellbore fluids.
Debris Extension. The TDP 3 comes standard with a 3m debris extension, which can be extended up to 9m using an external control line
Trip Saver. The TDP 3 can be configured to be cycled open using mechanical
or electrical trip savers. A combination of mechanical and electrical trip savers can be run in the same plug for increased redundancy.
Bellows System. Rubber bellows are used in the TDP 3 to separate wellbore fluids from the clean fluid used to operate the TDP 3's cycling mechanism.
Large ID. The 8.33" TDP 3 comes with IDs of 5.75" or 5.88".
