MCV
Multi Cycle Valve (MCV™)
Full Bore Circulation Valve

The MCV valve reduces operational risk and cost, giving oil and gas field operators a unique combination of flexibility and security in well completion. It is based on our patented venturi effect closing system.
With the MCV installed on top of the TDP glass plug, the tubing string will be autofilling as the completion is run in the ground. You can also displace well fluids in both directions. After closing you can enjoy the confidence of a permanent seal.
FEATURES
Multi-cycle function. The valve allows circulation from annulus to tubing - and from tubing to annulus. You can displace from heavy fluid to a lighter packer fluid multiple times before increasing the pressure and setting the MCV permanent close sleeve to seal it off permanently. In contrast, a normal single cycle valve will seal off immediately the first time you pressure up the well.
Lockout sleeve. The MCV uses an internally activated lockout sleeve that shifts position to close the valve permanently, once shear pin value is exceeded. It allows pump rates of up to 2 barrels per minute before a temporary seal is activated. At 3-to-4 barrels per minute, a temporarily closing function is activated. By increasing the pressure further, an additional closing sleeve locks in place, to make sure that the MCV is permanently closed.
Seal. The MCV can be qualified according to the ISO 14310 V0 standard upon request. The valve only closes during pumping from tubing to annulus.
