High TCP activity for TCO

In January 2012, TCO successfully perforated six 50m zones in ConocoPhillips's X42 and B19 wells. TCO's TCP department, lead by Geir Melhus, has been exclusively using perforation charges provided by Owen Oil Tools. To keep pace with the anticipated growth in TCP operations, TCO has hired Kjetil Jonsson as a TCP project manager and Kjetil Thu as a TCP Field Engineer. Kjetil Jonsson has held various positions in Schlumberger and Weatherford within the TCP and DST domains since 2001. Kjetil Thu has held TCP Field Specialist positions for both Schlumberger and Halliburton since 2006. Both employees are scheduled to take up their new positions in TCO on the 1st of February 2012.
