TCO wins a Major Perforating Contract |
|
In early 2011, TCO in conjunction with a major North Sea Operator, initiated a qualification process to become registered as a Tubing Conveyed Perforation (TCP) vendor. This process, which took a total of three months, involved a complete review of TCO's Quality Health Safety & Enviornmental systems and procedures, personnel reviews, explosive permit reviews and culminated in a full scale simulated TCP operation at the IRIS test facility in Stavanger.
Five months after the IRIS test was completed, TCO became the first local supplier of perforating services when they successfully perforated two 50m zones for a major North Sea Operator.
Two months after the first TCP operations, TCO was awarded the full Plug & Abandonment (P&A) TCP scope of work for a major North Sea operator. |
